DAVE DK (Pampa Records / Kompakt) ist zurück in der Glitzerperle. Wer ihn hier in den letzten Jahren schon einmal erlebt hat, weiß: Das wird wahnsinnig schön, ziemlich wild und garantiert ein bisschen magisch. Und als wäre das nicht schon Grund genug zu eskalieren, feiert Dave dieses Jahr auch noch direkt bei uns in seinen Geburtstag rein.
Dave ist seit Jahren ein fester kreativer Fixpunkt der internationalen House-Szene. Neben regelmäßigen Releases auf DJ Kozes Label Pampa Records – zuletzt die wundervolle „Herzen Auf EP“ – ist er auch ein gefragter Remixer für allerlei namhafte Artists und Labels. Sein nächster Track „Lagoon 69“ erscheint am 27. März im Rahmen der legendären „DJ-Kicks“-Serie von Sofia Kourtesis auf !K7. Kleine Prognose: Die Chancen stehen ziemlich gut, dass der Track vorher schon bei der Maier’s Lab durch die Anlage schwebt. Und so viel sei gesagt: Der ist so schön, dass ich kurz ein Tränchen verdrückt habe.

DAVE DK (Pampa Records / Kompakt) is back at Glitzerperle. Anyone who’s experienced him at Romantica in the past few years already knows: it’s going to be insanely beautiful, pretty wild, and just a little bit magical. And as if that wasn’t reason enough to celebrate, Dave will also be ringing in his birthday with us this year.
For years, Dave has been a steady creative force in the international house scene. Alongside regular releases on DJ Koze’s Pampa Records — most recently the wonderful “Herzen Auf EP” – he’s also a sought-after remixer for a wide range of well-known artists and labels. His next track, “Lagoon 69”, will be released on March 27 as part of the legendary “DJ-Kicks” series curated by Sofia Kourtesis on !K7. A small prediction: chances are very high that the track will already be floating through the Maier’s Lab sound system before then. And let’s just say this much – it’s so beautiful that I may have shed a little tear. What else is there to say? Oh right, of course:
