Basement Operations invites Ophan
We present you a new series of parties, where we invite collectives and labels from different cities around Germany and Europe to Stuttgart that have the same background as we do: Developing a musical subculture in their city and bringing the diversity of underground electronic music closer to their people and friends for years.
For our first party we have invited the guys Socrates and Manic Mike from Ophan Festival, who have been creating unique installations with the festival for the local community in Cyprus and shaped the scene with their residency at Sllip club and former club Klubd for years.
Socrates is a passionate digger and performer characterised by a deep connection with vinyl records. Sonically dedicated to a plethora of genres including electro, house, EBM and the primitive forms of trance and techno. Enamoured of dancing and the profound effect it has on humans, Socrates habitually seeks rhythm. Make sure to listen to his MOJ 36 mix, where he contributed an exceptional set for Nicolas Lutz mix series and get a taste for our upcoming night.
