This month’s issue of sweat is a special one, since we’re celebrating our first anniversary at our home base.

Elias Mazian

For this festive occasion we invited ‘Private Hearts’ radio host and De School resident Elias Mazian who can look back to several releases on dutch Labels such as Tom Trago’s ‘Voyage Direct’. During Corona he released just by the way an outstanding Electro Pop album on Job Jobse’s Label ‘De Vlieger’ which we definitely want to get repressed since it got sold out super fast. As a DJ his sets are less Pop, but a pretty diverse Mix of House, UK Garage, Breakbeats or even Trance. We are really looking forward to you, Elias!

Valeria

Valeria is an Italian/German DJ/Producer and Heidelberger by Choice. Described by many as subtly flashy, Valeria always seems to find the right balance of poise and nuance in her high energy sets. She is a resident at one of the most distinctly-different-dance-bars Germany has to offer: Hunter Thompson Saloon in Saarbrücken. In Heidelberg she is also part of the feminist Zena Collective which is strongly encouraging for more diversity in the local night life.
